Here is a little bit about me, but, you can be sure THIS DAY is about YOU and your love story!
Let me introduce myself and my roles at Secret Garden Ceremonies.
I am:
-1-part venue & business manager;
-1-part planning support;
-1-part set designer;
and
-1-part wedding officiant.
I will be your collaborator for your wedding or special celebration. I collaborate with only about 15-20 wedding couples a year because I want to LOVE my job, LOVE my life and want to LOVE my clients.
Only the first 2 roles above are specifically a part of your day as applicable. You can bring your own officiant and florist/designer who will install all their own work professionally. *Month of coordination according to package.
Did you notice, I didn't say salesperson? Nope. Not a good salesperson here. I am here to help you achieve your vision NOT sell you on one. We collaborate by focusing on your priorities, budget and desired vision.
As officiant I have over 5 years' experience both at the Retreat & Estate and as well as local venues like Waterfall Lodge, Sequioa Retreat, County Parks, Hollins House, Big Sur and more.

I am an information provider, a questioner, an organizer, a collaborator, a detail clarifier, logistics queen, a conversation starter, plumber, a humorist, a smile giver, a musician, singer, songwriter, journalist & specifics lover. I have been known to be a researcher, home restorer, hard worker, a day dreamer, solution seeker, creator, writer, trailblazer, a Gen X-er, 90's music lover, outdoor events specialist, communicator, hugger, friend, a rebel, thrift consumer, furniture restorer, business owner, farm animal caretaker, wife and mother. I am a human being trying to be the best most authentic version of myself on Earth.

Things I suck at: Grammar, creative cooking, cleaning house quickly (too many details) and bookkeeping.
What I like to devour: Knowledge and I really like to eat Tacos, Mole & Chocolate (are they all related?)!
Immediate Goal: Helping couples find a solution to their intimate wedding needs.
2-Year goal: Paying for my child's college.
3-year goal: Retirement from event industry.
5–13-year goal: Cruise ship comedian, published novelist, travel writer or Celebrity Officiant. I'm flexible- all could be incredibly adventurous and allow me to be authentic, adventurous and enjoy my remaining years.
If it sounds like a lot... you are correct, it actually is, but I LOVE helping REAL wedding couples plan extraordinary moments and have spent that last 4 years to develop an intimate wedding or event day support plan, so you don't have to.
